This session is done lying down in a comfortable supported position.

In a Meditative Session, the active breath pattern is over 8 minutes and can be as long as 40 minutes depending on the breather's intention for the session.

After 8 minutes, the mind unhooks, and you are able to explore deeper states of consciousness and connection.

The session is always a collaboration, and you are always in control.

I guide you and take my cues from your energy and your body to help create your experience.

This is a great choice if you are new to the practice of Breathwork or when you are tight on time.

This session can be done seated (head supported) or lying down. The sessions start with welcoming you in and collaborating, we then move into the breath pattern. The actual breathing time is 8 minutes or less.

After the breath pattern is released, there is integration time for you to be still. I bring you back gently and at that time, you can share your experience, journal a few things if you would like, and then we close the session.

It was amazing and I really allowed myself to release stuck energy. Kira was an outstanding guide that was tapped in and her promptings were divinely inspired!

Her ability to tap in and guide with ease! Her voice was so calming and really helped me go in deeper into my body and experience.

Alycia

Kira is so amazing. I really feel safe with her being totally honest about how I am doing and what I am needing. I can tell that she really cares about my wellbeing and designing a session that is most aligned with my preferences and also the state she is finding me in that day. I also appreciate getting to debrief with her as it helps me to integrate. It never ceases to amaze me the wisdom and nuggets that come up for me during my sessions with her. It is unbelievable. I am so appreciative.

Katherine

Beautiful, calm voice, very nice music, and great cueing that wasn't too much, it was just accurate. I loved the body scan and also connecting the bottom of the body and the top of the body to my heart. I love that Kira gave me the information about the breathwork, even though she knew I am experienced in it. She created very safe and loving energy.

Lauren

I'm celebrating Kira's ability to intuitively pick up on what kind of session would be supportive to my system and being able to deliver it on the fly. Her voice was so gentle and calm which really provided a safe space to disconnect and tap into myself. her cueing was beautifully placed, guiding me into the session and guiding me out in a way that felt very natural.

Wendy

The best mindful experience I’ve ever had! I went deeper into my body and connected to my heart ♥️ space at a level I never knew existed. I was free to listen to what my body needed without any resistance. Kira has built her profoundly attuned skills to beautifully pace, track, and created a safe protective container around her breathers that support deep healing!

Katherine

Kira, you are so soothing and your energy was so supportive and authentic. It was a great session and you gave me just what I needed in the moment.

It was so lovely! I felt so relaxed and at ease, and the connection with my baby in the session was wonderful, thank you for letting him join!

Questions About Breathwork

WHAT HAPPENS DURING THE SESSION?

When we open the session, we talk for a little while, review your intention for the session and collaborate on the breath pattern that may best serve you.

Breathwork is a physical and emotional practice and I speak to what may arise for you.

Once we go through the basics, I invite you to settle in and off we go!

WILL I HYPERVENTILATE?

No. Although conscious breathing can feel awkward and at times uncomfortable, you are always in control of your pace.

You can choose to go back to your natural breath at any time.

Always remember, during this part of our collaboration, it is your breath, and you are always in control of your experience.

WHAT IS HAPPENING IN MY BODY DURING BREATHWORK?

When you consciously inhale more oxygen and exhale Carbon Dioxide, you are introducing changes to your physiology, including your blood PH becomes more alkaline, the changes in the body can bring on sensations that are completely normal and safe to experience. Your body also begins to open to allow energy and emotions to move and release. You are moving into a higher state of consciousness.

WHAT SHOULD I BRING TO THE SESSION?

For your comfort, feel free to bring anything into the space that will make you feel supported such as a pillow, blanket, pet, fan, and journal with pen, or what ever makes your feel comfortable and safe.

Temperature shifts are normal during sessions, so a blanket is always a great things to have with you.

Some breath patterns may make your mouth feel dry so having some water available can also be supportive.

Additionally, to support trauma informed safety and security, please have an item that will be used to bring forward the grounding of your 5 senses. Choose an item that is pleasurable to smell, for example a candle or scented oils. Next an object for touch that has a texture that is different than what you are already touching during the breathing experience. Have something in the room that has a different sound that can bring you back to the present, here and now moment. Choose a little bit of a wonderful taste that can be available. Finally To gently complete your experience with your guided breath pattern, you will be brough back slowly in your own time to the present moment with opening your eyes, so having something wonderful to see will compete the full experience. This grounding resource is tremendously helpful for emotional regulation as the breathwork experience creates new shifts in your body to support integration.

Most of all bring an open mind, with an open heart to all possibilities to shifts or changes that can occur.

During your session, trust that the breath, your body, and your energy are doing exactly what it needs!
